The 2026 Honda Prelude might just be the return of a legend. After a long hiatus, the iconic Honda sports coupe is back, and based on my first drive experience, it looks like the Prelude is ready to make a comeback.

Driving the 2026 Prelude, it's clear that Honda hasn't forgotten what made the original so special. The car is light on its feet, with quick and precise steering that allows you to place the car exactly where you want it. The 2.0L turbocharged engine delivers plenty of power, making the Prelude feel capable and fun to drive.

Inside, the Prelude boasts a modern and well-designed cockpit, with a clean layout and high-quality materials. The seats are comfortable and supportive, and the infotainment system is user-friendly and feature-packed.

While the 2026 Prelude is certainly a great driver's car, it's also practical and comfortable for daily use. The trunk is spacious, and the seats are comfortable enough for longer trips.

Overall, my first drive of the 2026 Honda Prelude has left me excited for the car's return. It looks like Honda has hit the sweet spot with this revival, blending the best elements of the original with modern technology and design. If this is a taste of what's to come, the 2026 Prelude could be a strong contender in the sports coupe market.

Of course, only time will tell if the Prelude can live up to its legendary past. But based on this initial impression, the 2026 Honda Prelude seems poised to make a strong comeback. If you're in the market for a fun and capable sports car, the 2026 Prelude might just be worth the wait.
