The engine coolant temperature sensor reports coolant temperature to the ECU, which uses that data for fuel mixture, cooling fan operation, and temperature gauge readings. A failing sensor can cause inaccurate temperature readings or poor cold-start performance.

This sensor is built for 2010-2025 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models, matching OEM 4346360/LR041442 fitment; please verify exact fitment for Evoque or Discovery Sport 2.0L applications, as a separate 2018-2025-specific part (LR074067) also exists.
