The engine coolant temperature sensor reports coolant temp to the ECU, which uses it for fuel mixture, cooling fan operation, and the temp gauge. A failed sensor can cause poor cold starts, an inaccurate gauge, or fans that won't cycle.

This sensor is made to fit the C209 CLK500's 5.0L V8 M113 cooling system, matching the factory thread and connector for a quick swap.

Accurate and reliable, it restores correct temperature readings so the engine runs and cools the way it's supposed to.
