The coolant temperature sensor reports engine temperature to the computer, which uses it to manage fuel delivery, ignition timing, and cooling fan operation. A faulty sensor can cause poor fuel economy, hard starting, or an inaccurate temperature gauge.
This sensor (OE 0009050600) fits the Mercedes-Benz C300 W205 platform with the 2.0L turbo M274 engine, and is also used on C350, E300, W203, C230, and W204 applications.
Manufactured to OEM electrical resistance specifications, it restores accurate temperature readings so the engine management system operates correctly.
