The engine oil filler cap seals the oil fill opening on the valve cover, keeping oil in and contaminants out while allowing safe crankcase pressure venting. A cracked or worn cap can leak oil vapor, drip oil onto the engine, and let debris into the oil system.
This filler cap (OE 26510-35000) fits Hyundai Elantra and Sonata models with the common 2.0L/2.4L GDI engine, and is also used on the H100, H-1, and related Kia K2500 and Sedona applications.
Made to OEM thread and seal specifications, it screws on securely for a proper seal, protecting the engine oil system from contamination.
