The camshaft position sensor tells the ECU where the camshaft is in its rotation, allowing precise fuel injection and valve timing. A worn sensor can cause rough idle, poor acceleration, or a check engine light.

Designed to fit the 5.3L V8 engine in the GMC Sierra 1500, it installs directly into the factory camshaft sensor location.
