The PCV valve and oil separator manage crankcase pressure by routing blow-by gases back into the intake, keeping oil out of the intake tract. A failed unit can cause oil consumption, rough idle, or intake sludge buildup.

This PCV valve / oil separator is fitted for the Dodge Challenger R/T 5.7L HEMI V8 (LX platform), matching the factory mounting and hose connections for a direct replacement.
